California Adventureland Last day

It's a Bug Life land was really fun for the kids and it really wasn't busy at all. I think we took about 30-45 min to make our way slowly through it all riding every ride.

We spotted Goofy and the girls went over had him sign there books. When they where done I told them to turn around, and this is who turned around! Ha Ha he is so goofy.

So we ended up seeing so many greatly dressed pictures that Adam decided to capture their fantastic style on camera! This one is just classic love the orange!

The bottom left corner this one is great not quite sure what her theme was!

Look closely at this ladies pants! The only thing holding them together is what is around the waist and knee, oh and there was a littel string down by her ankles. You can only see the one leg but both legs where just as bad!

We ate at Carls jr. on the way out of town, and we didn't make much further when Jayden passed out we wore her out!

Disneyland/ California Adventure Day 2

The bike trailer sure made it nice. Not having to pack Taya around, plus extra water, and packing around jackets and other things when the girls where finished with them.

This was the highlight of Taya's Disneyland trip, the ducklings. Jayden almost caught one Taya actually had one caught. They got yelled at for chasing them, I tried to stop them but Taya was determined!

Taya thought the ball was so neat.

Jayden, Taya and I finally decided to brave the line for Tinkerbell. It said the wait was 60 min, but it ended up being like 45 min. still our longest wait for anything. It was worth it Taya and Jayden loved it!

They where thrilled to get their picture. For them and their smiles it was worth the 45 min wait.

Taya was trying to figure out smiling. If you asked her to smile this is waht you got. I finally asked her to say cheese later on the trip. That gave me a much happier smile.

Tinkerbell was so tiny Jayden thought that she needed to kneel down when Tinkerbell did. I just giggled, I thought that was so sweet.

Rylie and I went to ride Splash mountain and Dad got some pictures with Taya, Jayden and Winnie the Pooh.

Dad, Jayden, and Rylie went on the Toy Story 2 ride. I got sick of Taya screaming in line so we went and played the peir games. Taya won a little turtle and a big dumbo.

Jyaden wasn't so fond of the farris wheel. Rylie on the other hand loved it!

The girls got to meet all of teh princesses and get their picture taken with them. It was fun and the food was good. It was nice to be waited on in Disneyland.

We made it to Disneyland. We finally told the girls when we woke them up! they where so excited, and didn't believe us at the same time. Jayden kept saying "Really? Disneyland?"We took the shuttle to the park and as soon as we got off there was a security offcer standing there that noticed Adam's pocket knife. He was told that he would either have to give it to them to toss or to run back to the hotel. So the picture above is us waiting for him to get back!
Finally in the park! Who can resist the classic picture!

We got to see Mickey Mouse first thing. They really had fun getting everyones autographs.

Trip to California

We decided to surprise the girls with a trip to Disneyland. We woke them up in the morning put them in the truck and started driving. They all started to ask questions when we got to Victorville. Adam started to tell them that we where going to go swimming in the pond. The Pacific ocean is a big pond! So we spent that night at the beach and stayed the night they thought we would just wake up earlier and head back to school. We are so mean.
Adam and I never get pictures together, one of us is usually behind the camera taking pictures. It is nice that Rylie is getting old enough to start taking pictures of us.

Ok so it is official we aren't the best parents in the world. We are watching every word that is said around our little princess with a potty mouth. She repeats everything and uses it in the correct context. Here are a couple of our mistakes lately. Oopps!!

Adam took the girls to watch a rodeo last night. Taya needed a drink so Adam took her to the concession stand and bought her some apple juice. As they where walking back to their seats Taya took a drink then was placing the lid back on as she said....
"I put the lid on so the damn horse won't get my apple juice."
Oh don't worry that is not all. She was bring her apple juice into our room when it spilled as she was trying to get on the bed. She says about the spill.......
"Pain in the ass."
Seriously where does she get this stuff? She gets into to big trouble so now if someone else says a BAD word they are quickly reminded that it is a BAD word. That is our little princess Taya!

Taya's 3rd Birthday

I love that Taya gets so excited about presents She is so thankful and has the best expressions on her faces when she opens gifts! It makes giving gifts to her so worth it!
She got her ears prieced for her birthday she loved them! She was very excited about it, but she got a little nervous when it was time to get them done!

She got a big girl bike for her birthday! It sure does make her look like a big girl, it is so sad how fast the grow up!

Taya has decided that she is our newest puppy! She made her self a bed in the kennel and as even started panting like a puppy!
She can't decide whether or not to sleep inside the kennel or outside of the kennel!

It was time to even up Taya's hair. She is getting so big. She will be 3 next month.It was snowing at our house so I called Kari and Lisa and we planned a snow day!

So here are a couple of funny things that my girls have said in the last couple months.

Taya wanted to say the prayer at Papa Jims and Grandma Crash's last night. So we let her and this how she started
"Hi this Taya........."
I went all brown instead of blonde when I got it done Jayden said
"I don't even know you mom"
A couple days later we where driving to town and Jayden said
"Mom I am finally getting to know you...."
One I am not so proud of, I had made Taya lunch, chicken nuggets, I made a couple of extra so I could sneak a couple. So I took one and this is what she said..
"Mom thats bullshit that is my chicken nugget"
I know it is bad, but I couldn'e help myself I turned away and laughed before I could tell her we don't say that word. OH my, out of the mouths of babes. I love my girls!
As for Rylie she is quite the daddy's girl lately she just passed her hunter safety test and the shooting test as well I am not sure who was happier her or Adam.

I also need some more memory on my computer lots of pictures with no where to put them. So I am working on that. Santa found us! Wow, the girls must have been on the nice list.
Here is our beautiful tree all lite up. We had a couple of issues with the tree this year, notice the slight tilt to the right. Needless to say we has bought a new tree stand.

This is one of my most favorite family traditions. We go to Beaver mountains, play in the snow, eat sloppy joes and cut down our Christmas tree for the year.

For Rylie's Birhtday we invited the entire family and friends to go to the corn maze to help her celebrate.

My girls and Adam where so excited to go they where leading the way.

First stop the petting zoo. Rylie tried to wrangle the goats so that Carter could pet them.

Taya and Mylee have no problem getting the goats.

"Help let us out of here." Cater and Taya need to walk a couple of feet down to the gate, but it was funner to ask for help.

Adam and both grandpas asked the band to sing happy birthday to Rylie. So she had the entire place singing Happy birthday to her. She actually got quite embrassed. Gotta love the drama!

For Rylie's 9th Birthday I took her and 3 of her friends to the Paul Mitchell hair school for manicures, pedicures, and an up do.

This was the last night of the rodeo. This princess was adorable she wanted the sign her picture for Taya, she even wanted to put her on her horse so I could take a picture. this worked out just fine!
I love Taya's outfit, her little jean skirt. Her and Mylee getting something from Mylee's Grandma Wanda.

Rylie on Shortey, Adam on Null, and in the background you can barely see Jayden on Patch. She wouldn't ride close enough for me to get a good picture on this night.

Jaime this one is for you! My friend's little girls Jenna came with our other friends the McAllisters, They let Jenna ride McCall's horse around the arena by herself. I could hear jaime from Dammeron Valley. Ha Ha love you Jaime, she looks like a natural!

This year the girls got to help out with the opening ceremony. They all got to carry an American Flag every night of the Rodeo. Taya surprised me and actually went out the first night, but I think that was enough for her.

It is so nice to have the family come and support the girls. They absolutely light up when they see someone coming to watch them play. I really appreciate the support as well So thank you family I love you all.

Veyo Pool

We decided to go swimmimg with our good friends the McAllisters at the Veyo Pool. We love this pool, it is our favorite summer hang out. The kids can do so much, swim in the pool, catch crawdads, and they even found a little place to jump off some rocks. The picture above is the stream they catch crawdads in and the bridge that takes you over to the pool.

So if any of you have ever heard the rumor that they drain the Veyo pool everynight to clean it up. Well here is proof. We stayed long enough that they started draining it, and the McAllisters know the owners pretty well so the kiddos got to play as it was draining. I love the picture above it looks as if they are sliding down the bottom of the pool. They aren't they are just lying there and Rylie just happened to be getting up right as I took the picture.

The Girls Joined the Cedar City Junior rodeos this year and they had a blast. I really think that we all enjoyed ourselves!!

This was the last night of the Gunlock Rodeo. The girls did so good on the barrels everynight. They where quite the troopers.

Grandma Crash, Papa Jim, Grandpa Rex and Grandma Jan all made it to Gunlock to watch!

School was cancelled so we got to play in the snow with the girls friends.

I worked the night before so when I got home the girls were so excited to get dressed up that they got up early and ate breakfast before I got home. This is how they turn out. Oh let me remind you that most of the time I am almost late getting them out the door in time to make the bus.

Marathon 2008

Well I finally did it I ran the St. George Marathon and did it with my BFF Kathrynne Brewer. Not only did we finish it, but we ran the marathon in the rain. It rained the entire time. Our time was 4:18. The picture above is a little over 3 miles left, just above Snow Canyon Parkway. Marc, Lisa, Kailan, Mom and Dad where there to cheer us on. Thanks!

It was 8/20/2008, we got a lovely pjone call from school to come and pick our kids. Turns out that over 20 kids at diamond valley elementary had lice. GROSS. Nine of the little girls that live in our neighborhood had lice. Rylie was the only one in our family that ended up with although we treated the entire family and exterminated the entire house.

So this is me and the girls with mayonaise in our hair to suffocate the lice. One of the treatments that we did on our hair. There was no way that any of those lice or their nits would survive at my house. Happy to say Rylie is now lice free and has been since 8/21/2008. Thank Goodness!!

He let me pursue my dream of becoming a nurse and now it his turn to pursue his dream of doing taxidermy. He is really good at it and I wanted to brag a little and show off his work. We went to Tuachann to see the live nativity with Paul and Julia and the girls got to sit on Santa' lap while we where there.Santa is whispering to Jayden reminding to be good I am sure!

These wonderful ladies are my BFF/neighbors. I honestly would not have been able to make it through school without these ladies. Between helping me out with my girls making sure that they where taken care of when I couldn't be there or always reminding me that it would be worth it in the end. Thank you ladies!!

Well it has been a busy couple of months. So I will try and get back on top of things here and keep everyone updated on what has been going on with the Olivers. To start I FINALLY graduated Nursing school on Dec. 7th, 2007, I never thought this day would come. My wonderful family all wnet in and got me this nice beatiful, fantastic camera. I LOVE it. So a big thanks to them all. My Parents got me the camera, Adam the telephoto lens, and adam's parents the memory cards. These pictures are at Olive garden after graduation. My first pictures with the new camera.

Christmas Tree Hunting

Thanksgiving is over and now it is time to get ready for Christmas. So as tradition goes we all pile in the trucks and head for the beaver mountains. We bundle up all of the kids play in the snow while we find us a tree.

Grandpa and Grandma are always the first to find their tree. Here they are about ten minutes after we got there.
Taya was ready to go and find our tree. Adam, Taya and me rode one fourwheeler and Marc, Lisa, Rylie and Jayden rode the other and we where off to find our trees!
We could hardly pull Jayden off the fourwheelers she had a blast riding on them.

Here is Tigger and my little Snow Princesses. They had so much fun trick or treating. The neighborhood got together and we went around on a trailer. You can see that Taya lasted long. ADam was our trusty driver. The Kids had a blast.
